Deven Billimoria

Chief Executive Officer

Deven Billimoria brings deep industry knowledge and experience, having been with Smartgroup since 2000 and appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2002. Deven began his career as an engineering consultant, before transitioning to management consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton.

In July 2014, Deven steered Smartgroup Corporation through a highly successful IPO and continues to achieve personal and business accolades, being named Lynda Gratton CEO of the Year by the Australian Human Resources Institute and, leading the business to achieve successive annual awards including Aon Hewitt Best Employers, BRW Top 50 Most Innovative Companies and Customer Service Institute of Australia Excellence in Service in NSW and nationally.

Tim Looi

Chief Financial Officer

Tim joined in 2009 and looks after the finance, corporate development and legal and secretarial function. Tim previously worked for Aristocrat Leisure in various senior management roles and with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney and London.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Sydney and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. 

Dave Adler

Chief Commercial Officer

Dave joined in 2002 and heads the group's marketing and business development, as well as leading autogenie.com.au.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Business Management from CESA in Bogotá and is a Harvard Business School alumnus, having completed their program for Leadership Development.

 

Michael Ellies

Chief Operating Officer

Michael was appointed the COO role in 2009 and is responsible for the delivery of client services and building operational capabilities to enable efficient growth.

In 2014, the Customer Service Institute of Australia awarded Michael the NSW State Award for Customer Service Executive of the Year.

Previous roles include Head of Group Services for APN News & Media, Vice President Global ASP Services for internet start-up Peak hour and Management Consultant with both Booz Allen Hamilton and McKinsey & Company. In a prior career he was a medical practitioner for seven years.

Michael has an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia.

Houda Lebbos

Chief Human Resources Officer

Houda oversees the groups's human resources function. As part of the executive team, Houda works across the organisation to ensure that a robust framework is in place to recruit, reward and retain outstanding team members, and to best position them to deliver on their key objectives.  This includes the development of all related people systems and processes.

Houda joined in March 2008. Houda previously worked for the Coles Group in a variety of human resources roles ranging from Learning and Development Specialist to generalist roles both within the corporate division and within various brands and most recently headed up the human resources department for Coles Express.

Houda holds a Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma of Educational Studies and Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Industrial Relations – all attained at RMIT. Melbourne.
